Listened to Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra the 606th Subscription Concert at Suntory Hall, Tokyo.
Pieces by Webern, Bekku, and Glazunov, which are not very famous actually, were programmed.
Maestro Kazuki Yamada’s bounding baton brought out a colourful and tight performance. The viola solo by Yasuhiro Suzuki fully showcased the fascination with the instrument.
The next ones are supposed to be my turn to perform.
I can learn a lot about measures against infection not only the audience side but also performers’ at concerts of professional groups.
We’ll take them, and sincerely hope that the social circumstance allows us to have concerts!
