I took part in the inaugural concert of Perak Wind Orchestra and Choir (PWOC), a newly formed community band in Ipoh, Malaysia, along with 10 Japanese members, including members of the Saitama Luminous Wind Orchestra!
I participated as a guest conductor, and played the clarinet for the other pieces.
The second half featured a programme focusing on Malaysian music. With Malaysia’s Independence Day coming up at the end of the month, the audience was very excited!
