ven though I was moderating, I learned so much from this session!
I moderated and wrote the article for the high school student roundtable, ‘Overcoming Conflict and Leading the Team: Behind the Scenes with Five Leaders’, in the October issue of Band Journal”, published on 10 September.
It was a truly meaningful session that provided a glimpse into the daily activities of each school, which are rarely seen on stage. I did my best to convey the essence of our discussion to the readers within the limited space of the magazine.

[A quick aside]
The roundtable actually started just an hour after I got home from Malaysia. Furthermore, while I was putting the article together during my stay in China, my laptop broke down (the logic board was damaged by a power surge from the sound equipment at the seminar venue… and that Mac is still in Shenzhen!). I managed to finish writing it on a borrowed Mac.
Because of all this, it has become a very memorable article for me personally.
