I participated as a clinician at the 2026 1st Asia-Pacific Charity Wind Band Director Training Camp in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.
Although this event was organised at short notice due to various circumstances and mainly consisted of lectures, surprisingly, about 80 participants gathered and engaged enthusiastically in the sessions.
Shenzhen is known as the “youngest metropolis in East Asia,” and I could certainly feel that same momentum in the field of wind bands. I hope the concepts we covered will be useful in everyone’s daily activities!
