The article “Band-visit report: Kaisei Junior Ensemble” was published in the March 2022 issue of Band Journal, a monthly magazine by Ongaku No Tomo Sha Corp.
I’ve listened to concerts of Kaisei Junior Ensemble (KJE) for years and have been a friend of Mr Naoyuki Honzawa, the director of the band for decades. I love their jazz-style-oriented performance so much!
The editorial department of the Band Journal didn’t know the relationship between KJS/Honzawa san and me. It was quite a coincidence! Anyway, I did my very best to write this article to deliver readers the attractions of KJE!
