I’ve turned into 40 years old on the day His Majesty the Emperor Emeritus Akihito has become 87 years old, that is 23rd December.
The number of ten’s place has changed for the first time in ten years! Hahaha
As some of my friends pointed out, it’s the first time to spend the whole birthday in Japan probably in eight years. I quite often flew back from Chicago on my birthday. As a result, this year’s birthday became rather impressive.
